After two months of darkness when the sun never gets above the horizon, residents of the Arctic town of Ilulissat celebrate Seqinniarfik – a gathering to see the end of the polar winter and the return of the sun with song and traditional festivities.
With Trump eyeing Greenland this year the celebrations are going to be subdued as people worry whether the return of the sun might also bring with it a troubled future.
