US President Donald Trump is telling Iranian protesters “take over your institutions” and says he will intervene if any of them are executed.
Tens of thousands of demonstrators have taken to the streets since December, although Tuesday night seems to have been calm.
Iranian officials have repeatedly accused the US of fomenting the unrest.
