TRNSMT Festival
19th-21st June 2026
Glasgow Green, Glasgow

TRNSMT returns to Glasgow Green this summer. In a departure from its traditional July dates, it’s taking place between 19th and 21st June. This year’s line up presents a diverse and eclectic array of acts headlined by Lewis Capaldi, Richard Ashcroft, and Kasabian.

Friday sees Wolf Alice high on the bill. Headliners in their own right at other festivals this summer, they’re sure to impress. There’s Irish representation from rising indie stars New Dad and Cliffords. Luvcat brings her effervescent stage presence and a sense of romance. Looking for something nostalgic? There’s introverted indie from the reformed Beta Band and more Scottish sounds from Dylan John Thomas. Nile Rogers and Chic will inevitably bring their good time party vibes before 90’s icon Richard Ashcroft brings proceedings to a close.

Perennial festival favourites Kasabian headline Saturday, preceded by DJ Sonny Fodera. There’s mellow hip hop from Loyle Carner and Scottish indie sounds from The Snuts and The Fratellis. Big Special bring their brand of poetic punk to the party and there are more arty sounds from English Teacher and The Last Dinner Party.

Sunday is all about singer songwriters and slick pop sounds. There’s a strong Scottish feel as Amy Macdonald and the hugely successful Lewis Capaldi bring the weekend to a close. Rising star Skye Newman and Little Mix’s Perrie add some pop sensibility while CMAT brings her unstoppable live presence and a touch of Irish country. Indie sounds aren’t completely forgotten. Two Door Cinema Club make an appearance alongside upcoming acts, Red Rum Club, Overpass, and Westside Cowboy.

Weekend, one and two day tickets are available. Links to purchase and more details can be found here.

A Plea From Louder Than War

Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.

To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
