Four established venues in the centre of Bristol will be providing music all day this Saturday (28th March) as part of the annual Ritual Union Festival. Bristol Electric (two stages), Rough Trade and Strange Brew are all a couple of minutes apart from one another and, if previous years are anything to go by, should keep many of us content for the day.
Working Men’s Club are due to make their first appearance for a couple of years, London based Keo will be completing the event on Saturday night inside The Electric’s main room, and an impressive list of acts during the day will certainly keep the enthusiastic crowds hopping from one venue to the next as the hours pass by.
Dublin’s Yard have already made a huge impression for those that have been fortunate to see them, local outfit Knives never disappoint, likewise Brighton’s Lemonsuckr. These are all names we’d recommend seeing if you’ve not crossed paths with them yet.
With an afterglow party for late night revellers in addition to the impressive list of emerging acts, this day is about to become an annual highlight for those of us that love attending these multi-venue events across the country.
Here’s our top ten acts we hope to catch.
Ritual Union tickets are available on their Website.

A Plea From Louder Than War
Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.
To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
