Cornish Pirates prop Alessandro Heaney will leave the club in February to move to the United States.
The 23-year-old forward has agreed a deal to join Major League Rugby side Anthem Rugby Charlotte.
The Irish forward moved to the Champ club in the summer from American side RFC Los Angeles and went on to make 13 appearances for the club.
Heaney has ambitions to force his way into the USA squad for the 2027 World Cup in Australia.
“Ale’s introduction to the squad was of huge value to us,” joint-head coach Alan Paver told the club website, external.
“Ale has ambitions to make a push with getting into the international side in America, so for us we wish him all the best when the time comes, but we can look forward to having him for a little while longer yet.
“He’s one we’ve got an eye on for the future to hopefully return after his spell away.”
