Keith Goldhanger provides more praise in the direction of Leeds band Bathing Suits who have just released a seven minute Industrial/Dance banger.

They’ve done it again then. Another new tune from Leeds outfit Bathing Suits has been set free for the world to hear and its another thrill a minute (seven to be precise) ride that matches the bands’ explosive live shows and previous tunes already available. This is a band that are now gaining momentum with every move they make as 2026 starts to take shape, festival line-ups are being discussed and more and more people are beginning to realise that Punk Rock at it’s finest has had another subtle makeover and sounds as exciting as it ever has done.

Empathy, with its Industrial dance beat, sharp vocals, shredding guitars and growling bass sits comfortably with previous releases Lousy Havoc, Relay  and I Can Be A Freak. It’s bringing Punk Rock back onto the dancefloor to sit alongside Model/Actriz, SPK, P.I.L. and Crystal Castles. Noise at it’s finest, a big night out if you find yourselves in the same room and one of the most exciting bands you can still see without queuing up six months in advance to see.

Go to see them whenever you get the chance and we’ll probably see you there again.

“Always dancey. Always loud. Always sexy”, say the band

‘Bloody ace’ say us – Go and see them

A Plea From Louder Than War

Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.

To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
