The Boo Radleys are set to return to action again
in spring 2026 with news of a brand new album.
Entitled In Spite Of Everything, it will be the band’s ninth album and their third since their well-received return with 2021’s Keep On With Falling. The band will also be setting out on a series of UK / Ireland tour dates in support of the album’s release which is scheduled for 1st May 2026. A handful of dates in France are due to start this weekend from Sunday 8th February, but prior to this the band are also playing a ‘warm up’ UK date at Bedford Esquires, on Saturday 7th February. Tickets for this Bedford date can be obtained here. For the French shows see further details below.
On the band’s official Facebook page, the Boo Radleys write:
“We’re very excited to announce our ninth album ‘In Spite Of Everything’ will be released on May 1st just in time for the album tour. This record contrasts loss and light and features ‘Solarcide’ and our new single ‘Living Is Easy’. We’re thrilled to be having Leo Walrus join us for the ‘In Spite Of Everything’ album tour in May. Leo Walrus is a 24-year old singer-songwriter with pop sensibilities and an ear for melody straight from the hazy 1960s.”

The French dates which kick off this weekend are as follows:

A Plea From Louder Than War
Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.
To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
