Iron Maiden Eddfest
10-11th July 2026
Knebworth Park, Hertfordshire
Eddfest comes to Knebworth Park this summer. The iconic Hertfordshire venue hosts the event on 10-11th July. Named in honour of Iron Maiden’s long time mascot and animatronic live cohort Eddie, the festival supersizes the band’s Run For Your Lives 50th anniversary tour over two days.
The camping event opens on Friday with live music on a second stage from bands associated with Iron Maiden across the decades. Over the two days there’s also a Maiden-themed funfair and Eddie’s Dive Bar, no doubt featuring the band’s Trooper beer. For fans new and old there’s also an opportunity to revel in their history with the Infinite Dreams Museum Experience.
Saturday sees Iron Maiden headline the main stage in an event featuring interactive experiences and a VIP area alongside more typical festival fare. Their already spectacular Run For Your Lives arena show promises to be even more astonishing in Knebworth’s vast open air bowl.
Special guests on the day are The Darkness, who are sure to put on a special show of their own. There’s also main stage music from Australia’s AC/DC-inspired Airbourne. Mongolian folk metal band The Hu add to the international feel. Scottish rockers The Almighty complete the line up.

A Plea From Louder Than War
Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.
To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
