Midfielder Joe Ralls has extended his contract with Plymouth Argyle until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old has scored once in seven appearances for Tom Cleverley’s side since being released by Cardiff City last summer.
His initial deal at Home Park had been due to expire this month.
“Joe has made an immediate impact since his arrival at the club, both on and off the pitch,” said Cleverley.
“His lengthy football league experience has been invaluable to our young squad and when he has appeared he has shown just how good a footballer he is.
“We are really pleased to secure Joe to a new contract and look forward to his continued contribution.”
Argyle are 21st in the table, but will leapfrog Burton Albion if they win Sunday’s home game involving the two clubs.
