Zombina & The Skeletones launch their Single-A-Month project
Liverpool horror punks Zombina & The Skeletones have announced the launch of their Single-A-Month project for 2026; the undertaking will see the band release a new track every month throughout the year, each track will be accompanied by a video short, under the title Horror Shorts.
The band who released the album In Sinistereo late last year (LTW review) began the Horror Shorts project with the January release of #1 entitled ‘Fiend Without A Face’, this was followed in February by single #2 entitled 2 Scoops Of Brain.
Each months single is being released via the ZATS Bandcamp profile and all digital platforms, and across their Facebook profile.
Horror Shorts #3 is due for release on the26th March.
At this stage, the releases are being limited to digital only – however as with the In Sinistereo album, those tracks began as digital only releases, so who knows, Horror Shorts (great title for an album by the way) may well see a full physical release at a future date.
In addition a couple of live dates have been announced:
Wednesday 1st July – Star & Garter, Manchester
Saturday 3rd October – The Flapper, Birmingham
Advance tickets are available now at venues and usual ticket outlets.

A Plea From Louder Than War
Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.
To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
