A dog had to be rescued after it fell over a cliff’s edge in Devon.
Brixham Coastguard Rescue Team said it received a call at about 13:55 GMT on Saturday which reported the dog had become separated from its owner and fallen from a cliff in the Scabbacombe area.
A Facebook post from the team said the dog was located about 180m (590ft) below the cliff edge following a search, with a technician lowered through dense bushes and hawthorns to rescue it.
The team said the white cockapoo, named Maple, was wet but “still wagging its tail” and, after a visit to a vet for some stitches, was doing well.
