Matt Taylor says Exeter City’s poor defending at set-pieces is a “massive concern” after their 3-2 loss at Luton Town.
The Grecians conceded twice from set-pieces as their winless run extended to 12 games after a fourth successive defeat.
It left them 19th in League One, one point above the relegation places.
“There’s a lot of that game which we were successful with in terms of our play and our ball use and our shape, and we looked like a good team for most of it,” Exeter interim manager Taylor told BBC Radio Devon.
“But we’ve got no points to show for it and Luton have had to do very little to score the goals against us.
“We scored two good goals away from home, could have had more, dominated the ball for large parts, but have been undone by those moments,” he added.
“They’re so, so important and we value them, we’re training them, we’re coaching them, but the outcome’s not enough at the moment in those moments.”
