Police have released images of a masked person they want to speak to, after a spate of criminal damage over the Christmas period.

Devon and Cornwall Police said fifteen incidents took place on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, all of which were thought to have been committed late at night or in the early hours.

The force said it received reports of graffiti being sprayed on buildings and structures in Polbathic, Seaton, Downderry, Hessenford, Widegates, Crafthole and Looe.

The words “AI will replace us all” and “AI will take our jobs” were painted in all the incidents.

The force said the masked person may be able to assist in the investigation.

The police said they also wanted to hear from anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage “of people or vehicles seen in suspicious circumstances”.
