Two men have died in a crash involving two cars on a rural road in Dorset.
A black Audi A4 and a Blue Volkswagen T-Roc collided on the B3078 at Knowlton, near Wimborne, Dorset Police said.
The two drivers, aged 24 and 57 and both from Poole, were pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
Road closures were put in place while investigation work was carried out.
Sgt Richard Stroud said: “Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the two people who sadly died at this extremely difficult time.”
He said the force was continuing to make enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us,” added Sgt Stroud.
“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area around the relevant timeframe to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything to assist our investigation.”
