Another Exeter Community Lottery player is celebrating after winning £250.
It’s the fifth time someone has won the £250 prize in Exeter in as many weeks.
The player won the prize in last weekend’s draw while raising money for the Exeter Central Fund, which distributes funds to a range of different good causes.
In April there were four players who scooped £250 in the Exeter Community Lottery – and May has started in exactly the same way.
But as ever, the real winners are the good causes in Exeter who benefit directly from ticket sales.
Playing the Exeter Community Lottery provides a great way to support good causes throughout the city.
There are more than120 good causes that are currently signed up to the Exeter Community Lottery.
For each pound player spend, 50 pence goes to a nominated good cause, 10p goes to the Exeter Central Fund for other good causes and the rest pays for prizes and the administration of the lottery.
Players of the lottery can also choose to nominate the money to the Central Fund.
Tickets cost £1, and players have a one in 50 chance of winning a prize. Draws take place every Saturday, with ticket holders in with a chance of scooping the top prize of £25,000.
