Art Week Exeter returns on Monday 9 June for a week of events held in venues across Exeter city centre and elsewhere.
This year’s programme includes exhibitions, film screenings, talks, workshops, performances, social events and an art car boot sale.
Venues include Exeter Phoenix, Exeter Library, Exeter Custom House, RAMM and the Devon & Exeter Institution as well as Paris Street pop-ups and St Martin’s Church.
Art Week Exeter was first held in 2016. It returned for the following two years before taking a break until 2022 then becoming a bi-annual event in 2023.
Art Week Exeter is produced by Art Work Exeter, an artist-led organisation formed in 2016 alongside the first art week event.
Currently in residence as a “cultural partner” at Exeter Custom House, it creates events and projects in partnership with other artists and organisations from Exeter and beyond.
In 2021 it was commissioned to develop a public art strategy which was adopted by Exeter City Council the following year.
Art Week Exeter takes place from Monday 9 to Sunday 15 June 2025 in venues across Exeter city centre and elsewhere.
