This weekend,12–13 April, Exeter Quay hosts two engaging workshops as part of Pile Up! Worlds of Stuff, Art Work Exeter’s spring programme at Exeter Custom House.
On Saturday, 12 April, Storm Machine 1 runs from 11am–1pm and 1.30pm–3.30pm.
Artists Louise Ashcroft and Farmer Glitch lead participants in creating sound instruments inspired by waste and weather. This workshop suits those interested in music, sound design, ecology, and storytelling.
On Sunday, 13 April, Thicket – Print a Plant takes place from 10.30am–1pm and 1.30pm–4pm. Artist Freya Gabie guides attendees in discovering local indicator plants and making eco-friendly prints.
Both workshops welcome adults and young people aged 12 and up, with no prior art experience required.
Tickets are priced at £5/£3, with a free option available for those who need it.
