Exeter man charged after malicious online communications

A 30 year old man has been charged after reports of alleged malicious communications posted online, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed Alfie Pilkington of Redlands Close in Exeter, had been arrested on Friday and had been remanded in custody.

He was set to appear at Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

The force said it would like to remind people not to speculate online about the matter due to ongoing court proceedings.
