Plymouth Argyle midfielder Jordan Houghton will leave the club when his contract expires this summer.
The Pilgrims said that they offered the 29-year-old the chance to stay at Home Park but he “opted to pursue another challenge”.
Houghton made 184 appearances during his time at Plymouth through two spells, scoring two goals and registering 10 assists.
This season he made 32 appearances in all competitions as Plymouth were relegated to League One.
In the two campaigns previous he was a regular name on the team sheet as the Pilgrims won promotion to the Championship.
Houghton came through Chelsea’s academy and he had spells at Doncaster Rovers and MK Dons before a move to Devon in 2021.
