A man has been arrested after multiple vehicles were damaged by a forklift truck in a Devon town, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it had received numerous calls at about 21:40 BST on Thursday about a forklift truck damaging up to five vehicles as it was driven along Queen Street and Quay Road in Newton Abbot.
The force said officers had arrested a man in his 50s on suspicion of dangerous driving, drink-driving and criminal damage.
The man is currently in custody, officers said.
