Motorcycle rider taken to hospital after A38 Plymouth deer crash

A motorcycle rider has been taken to hospital following a collision with a deer in Plymouth.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to the crash on the westbound side of the A38 near Manadon, at about 20:50 BST on Tuesday.

The force said the man suffered minor injuries but the deer, which had also been in collision with another vehicle, died.

It said one lane was shut but reopened at about 22:05.
