The Masters 2025: Monday practice delayed by storms at Augusta

The start of Monday’s practice round for this week’s Masters has been delayed by stormy weather at Augusta National.

Local forecasts suggest the thunderstorms will take until about 13:00 local time (18:00 BST) to blow through, with rain likely to continue throughout the day.

A statement from Augusta National said: “Due to expected inclement weather and safety concerns, patron gates will not open as scheduled for Monday’s practice round.

“All patron parking lots will remain closed until further notice. No patrons should approach Augusta National until more details are released.”

A further update is expected at 13:00 BST.

Tuesday’s weather is expected to be sunny with little chance of rain.

More to follow.
