Gloucestershire have signed Australia off-spinner Todd Murphy for their next four County Championship matches.
The 24-year-old will arrive in time for the Second Division game against Derbyshire at Bristol on 22 June, and finish with the meeting with Middlesex at the Cheltenham Cricket Festival at the end of July.
This will be Murphy’s first experience of county cricket but he has played seven Test matches for Australia, including taking six wickets in the fifth Ashes Test against England at The Oval in 2023.
